Why do we collect information about you?
When undertaking a regulated qualification, it is important that we are able to uniquely identify each learner. We do this by your name and date of birth. There may be a requirement for us to contact you after you have completed this qualification. This may be for the purpose of quality assurance, investigating incidents or replacing certificates. With your consent (below) your data will be shared with your training provider. We do not share your information with any other third parties. We will not contact you for any marketing purposes.

How long will you keep my data?
Your data is stored for the lifetime of your qualification, plus 2 years. This allows us to provide you with evidence in the future of your attainments. After this time your data is securely destroyed. You have a number of rights in relation to your data, including the right of access, to request an amendment and to restrict processing.

On occasion Hassocks Academy may want to contact you. This may be for quality assurance purposes, for information about events and special offers or to remind you about refresher training.
